We typically use clean water and a mild detergent to lift dirt and grime from your glass. Depending on the weather and specific needs of your windows, we may use other safe, child-, pet-, and plant-friendly additives to enhance performance.
For tougher cleaning jobs, such as oversprayed paint or heavy buildup, we use window-specific razors and non-abrasive tools like sponges, walnut pads, or 0000 steel wool, all of which are proven to clean glass effectively without causing scratches or damage. In rare cases where a stronger solution is needed, we take every precaution to contain the product to the treatment area and follow up with a mild solution to neutralize any residue.
Please note: Due to the potential for damage, we do not clean storm windows.
