What Is Included in a Residential Window Cleaning?
Wow Window Company prices window cleaning à la carte. A full residential cleaning covers exterior glass, interior glass, screens, tracks, and sills, and that is what most homeowners book. But each piece is a separate line item, so you can book exterior glass only, interior only, or even tracks only if that is all you want. You pay for what you ask for.
We recommend a full cleaning twice a year for most Treasure Valley homes: once in late spring after cottonwood and grass pollen drop, and once in early fall after wildfire smoke season leaves a fine ash film on the glass. Homes with sprinkler overspray hitting the windows sometimes add a third visit, because Treasure Valley water leaves mineral deposits behind that can etch glass if they are left to build up.

Why Treasure Valley Windows Get Dirty Faster Than You Think
Boise homes face four things most of the country does not deal with all at once: hard water, wildfire smoke, agricultural dust, and heavy spring pollen. Each one leaves a different residue, and each one needs a different approach.
Hard Water
Most homes here water with mineral-bearing water, and a lot of Canyon County neighborhoods run off pressurized irrigation fed by the canal system rather than city water. Either way, when a sprinkler hits the glass that water evaporates and leaves its minerals behind.
Wildfire Smoke

We price residential jobs by window count and access difficulty, and we confirm the number on site before we start. You will never get a surprise charge after the fact.

We Protect the Space First
Drop cloths under every interior window, shoes off or booties on, and nothing moved without asking. Interior window cleaning is done in someone's home, and we treat it that way.

The Clean
Interior glass is cleaned by hand with a squeegee and a scrubber, which is the only method that reliably gets the corners. If upper level windows are not easily accessible by ladder then they are cleaned with a water-fed pole running ultra-pure, deionized water, which dries spot-free with no detergent residue. Tracks are vacuumed before they are wiped, so the grit comes out instead of turning to mud.
